Basilica of the National Vow to the Sacred Heart

Here's the 'obligatory' picture of the Sacre Coeur, or is it obligatory?

From whatever angle you glimpse the basilica, it is beautiful.

Whether on a warm spring day (left), in the cold of winter (above), or the heat of August
(below), the edifice is never the same.

If you do go to visit, watch the changing light play about the spires and domes.

The texture of the building hides many treats, but as with Le Tour Eiffel, it is very elusive to photograph.
